Vegan Grocery List

New year, new you, right?! Well if you are like me, one of my 'resolutions' sow to speak, was to transition into veganism. I was vegetarian for a couple of years and as time went by, I slowly became disgusted over the thought of eating something that came from a loving animal. Let's not get into that because this post is all about you.

So, you have decided to become vegan but do not know where to start? First thing first, the supermarket! To make your life easier I compiled a little list to assist in jump-starting your new journey!

My (Updated) Vegan Skin Care Routine

Back in 2019, I created a skin care routine and since then I have completely revamped the routine. There was a lot of research done on my part and it was all well worth it because I truly needed a new regimen especially since my skin did break out very unexpectant and could not identity as to why.

You will identify that most of my products come from the skincare line, "Ordinary". I can personally really vouch for them. Improvements of my skin was seen within 3-4months once I switched most of products to theirs

My Vegan Skincare Routine

I am one of the few that did not have to worry about acne. My main struggle was bringing that hydration to my dry skin. However, there were moments during my teenage years (17-19) where I struggled with random breakouts on my chin that has left some scars. Nonetheless, through my own experimentation with different products, personal experiences and education in skin care, this is my everyday (and night) skincare routine for my dry skin - all products which of course are vegan and cruelty-free.

Vegan Dairy Alternatives

As I slowly transitioned into a vegan, I struggled with finding dairy alternatives such as cheese, cream cheese and butter. My struggle inspired me to write up this post because I know how difficult it is to cut dairy out of your diet completely and I know so many of you proclaim that there is NO way you can give up cheese.

There are so many benefits as to why one should go dairy free one of them being of course for the sake of Cows; other reasons include:

Vegan Pizza Delivery Options

Some of us vegans get lazy to cook also! Although, it "weird" to order a cheese-less pizza, who cares, I am starving. Cheese-less pizza is pretty darn good. However, if you need your cheese fix, you could always pre-heat your oven until your pizza arrives, grab some of your vegan cheese and sprinkle it on top of the pizza once it arrives. Put it the oven for a few minutes and ta-da!

True story: every time I order a cheese-less pizza from Dominos online, they ALWAYS call to confirm if I meant to do that.

**I prefer Papa john's over Dominos, but that is just me.

Best Apps for Vegans

I have been a vegan for over a month and the transition was rough for me because I felt super unprepared with the lack of knowledge. Not knowing what food products are considered vegan friendly, I turned to my lovely iPhone for some help.

Welcome

Hey everyone! *waves*

I guess I can start off with what kind of blog this is?
This can be labeled as a vegan nerd lifestyle blog (hence the name) Yes, I am a vegan. I have been a vegan for over a month now. I was a vegetarian for 3 years. Btw, I am not a writer so I do not need grammar nazis all up in mah blog, ya dig?

Oh, my, where are my manners. I should have done the classic bio first...

Name: Cynthia
Age: 23
Eyes: Brown
Hair: ????
Occupation: Student (Currently a graduate finishing my Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling)
Pets: One dachshund (11 years old)

Now that that is out of the way....

Yes, I am a nerd.
I enjoy various of video games as well as anime. I am a cosplayer. I just began around May 2015 and my first cosplay was Thor (favorite superhero!) and my second was Toothless the adorable, fantastic, superb dragon in How to Train Your Dragon. I have a cosplay page only on FB. The link is located in the side bar. On Instagram I post literally anything I desire (link is also located in the sidebar).

I could easily blab my interests in this post, but where is the fun in that? You guys will get to know me through every post I write up. So, as I said it will be a lifestyle blog so from eating habits, vitamins, best netflix shows, best dresses in Forever 21, must watch animes, love advice etc. just about ANYTHING.

If you are interested in any of that then yay! Comment, like, subscribe, hug, do a dance or eat salsa chips!

I hope you guys enjoy my blog! :)
